This past weekend we held the inaugural Waikato Extravaganza, and it was so much fun!
It was my first time teaching at an Extravaganza. I have attended a few now and thoroughly enjoyed making the different projects, so I was stoked to be invited to teach with a wonderful group of fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.
Waikato Extravaganza is a wonderful day full of crafting. Attendees completed 5 projects, each taught by a talented demonstrator. There were display boards with lots of crafting inspiration – attendees were encouraged to bring a camera or use their cellphone to take photos.
The purpose of the day was for attendees to be able to experience a range of Christmas themed products from the wonderful new Holiday Catalogue, and to enjoy the company of other craft minded people. Projects on the day were designed to be suitable for casual to avid crafters. We gave out a lot of spot prizes throughout the day.
One of the lovely attendees on the day had made these awesome fun fold note cards as thank you’s for each of the five teaching demonstrators. I was very touched by the effort she had put in.
So Many Stars Tee Pee card – demonstrated by me.
Christmas Gleaming Double Easel card – demonstrated by Rayleen Baker.
Peaceful Boughs card – demonstrated by Irene Wardlaw.
Natures Beauty Pop Up card – demonstrated by Bev Poultney.
Feels Like Frost Scenery Z-Fold card – demonstrated by Alicia Yap.
