My family members are a fairly crafty bunch. Between myself, my husband, my immediate family, and extended family members we have woodworkers, people who sew, cake makers and decorators, felt workers, knitters, crocheters, and a mixture of journaling / mixed media creators. It is easy to see where my love of crafting comes from!
My sister is a knitter and is a superstar with a sewing machine. She is also my biggest fan! She attends my 8×8 Sampler classes, and if she can’t attend on the day I will prepare a kit for us to put together the next time we see each other.

During our most recent visit we used my sisters Designer Series Paper share packs to create these bookmarks. My sister had the idea, so we raided my craft room for stamps and ribbons and got to work.
The best thing about crafting with my sister is that we work together on designing projects, really getting to stretch our crafting muscles! Crafting together is a restorative and invigorating experience. When the stresses of life, work, family etc. all get a bit much crafting provides a focus away from reality for a time, and solely on whichever project is being completed. The chatting while crafting helps too!
These bookmarks feature these current Designer Series Papers:

Taking inspiration from my sisters bookmarks, I will be creating some more of my own to have in stock for the markets and pop-up shop I have coming up. Check out my Facebook page for more designs and price soon.
Have a look at the ‘Events’ page of my blog for more information about where you will find me in November and December.
Happy crafting.
