Hello! And welcome to my second tutorial blog post and YouTube video. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and take a look. Please remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel and blog to receive updates straight to your inbox.
I saw a card design by Linda Yamamoto from YamStamps and loved it. To me it was a design that lent itself to different levels of crafting ability, so it was an easy choice for my second YouTube tutorial video. Below are the full instructions for the three card designs. I’d love to know what you think of the stamp set and coordinating punch from the Sale-a-Bration freebies.

To make this project you will need:
- Whisper White Thick card stock – 21cm x 14.9cm
First is the beginner crafter design. All you need to make this card are card stock and inks. Super simple, and oh so pretty! Whichever level you are at in your crafting, there is a lot to be said for simple designs. They show us that you don’t need to have all the bells and whistles to make a gorgeous card.
The vine image and dots are stamped directly on to Whisper White Thick card base in Smoky Slate. The large flower is stamped off in Flirty Flamingo, and the sentiment, small flower and Flirty Flamingo flower center are stamped in Melon Mambo. The same image is stamped on the inside of the card. The center of our cards are often overlooked; a simple image in the corner or supporting sentiment are nice ways to decorate the inside.

To make this project you will need:
- Whisper White Thick card stock – 21cm x 14.9cm
- Smoky Slate card stock – 9.5cm x 13.9cm
- Whisper White card stock – 9cm x 13.4cm
Next up is the casual crafter design. You’ll need a few more supplies for this version, but the stamping is as the previous version.
The stamping is repeated on the Whisper White layer and the inside of the card. This is then adhered to the Smoky Slate layer using liquid glue or tape, and the Smokey Slate layer is adhered to the card front. The flowers are stamped off in Flirty Flamingo onto scrap Whisper White card stock, and then punched out using the Small Bloom Punch. These are adhered to the card front using liquid glue. Dimension was added to the flowers by using a Bone Folder to curl the petals.

To make this project you will need:
- Card base, Whisper White Thick – 21cm x 14.9cm
- 2x Smoky Slate card stock – 9.5cm x 13.9cm
- 2x Whisper White card stock – 9cm x 13.4cm
- Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon – 35cm
- Silver Metallic Thread
- Metallic Pearls
Lastly is the avid crafter design. This stepped up version builds on the materials and steps used for the beginner and the casual crafter versions.
The Whisper White layer is stamped and the flowers are punched out as previously instructed. For this design the flowers are popped up onto the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, and decorated with a silver Metallic Pearl in the centre of each one. This layer is adhered directly to the Smokey Slate layer which is embossed using the Scripty embossing folder.
A length of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon is wrapped around and tied into a knot. With the knot to the right hand side of the card,
Silver Metallic Thread.
The sentiment ‘CongratYOUlations is stamped in Melon Mambo onto a 1.5cm strip of Whisper White. This is popped up on top of the Metallic Thread with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside the card is decorated with the same size Smoky Slate embossed piece, and stamped Whisper White piece as the card front.
