Welcome to my blog! Today I have a great tip for using up the last bits of your Designer Series Paper (DSP) stash. Because I know that I am not alone in either not wanting to cut into a beautiful sheet of DSP or keeping every last piece of DSP I cut!
The beauty if using up strips of Designer Series Paper in this way is that it doesn’t matter what width each strip is, they can all be used to make a panel for a card front.
Each card showcases the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper and Tropical Oasis Trinkets. Both of these items are included in Stampin’ Up!’s Last Chance Products which are available until 2 June 2020, or while stocks last. You can view the range here. Be sure to get in quick so that you don’t miss out!

For this design I started with a strip going from left to right on an angle. I followed this down to the bottom. This left the top portion open, so I adhered the DSP strips at a right angle across the top of the panel.

In this card design I used strips of DSP of 1cm, 1.5cm, 2cm and 2.5cm and adhered them all in the same direction. I love the angle across the card.
A simple sentiment piece with sponging, an embellishment and length of ribbon finish off the card nicely.

For this card design I used the scrappy strip technique demonstrated by Bruno Bertucci here for the top part of the panel. It is a fun technique and a great way to showcase our beautiful Designer Series Paper.
Happy crafting.
