Today I have a quick yet effective card to share with you. Some extra touches like an embossing folder and a heat embossed sentiment are great ways to add some wow factor to any card design. I hope you enjoy this tutorial. You’ll find the link to the YouTube video below.

To complete this project you will need:

• Whisper White Thick cardstock – 14.9cm x 21cm
• Mint Macaron cardstock – 14.4cm x 5cm
• Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper – 14.4cm x 7.5cm
• Basic Black cardstock – 8cm x 5cm
• Braided Linen Trim – 25cm

Begin by embossing the piece of Mint Macaron cardstock using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere this to the Whisper White Thick cardbase using Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Keep an even border around the top, left-hand side, and the bottom.

Use the scalloped edge die from the Ornate Borders Dies to cut the left-hand side of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP. Adhere this to the Whisper White Thick cardbase so that it overlaps the Mint Macaron layer using Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Keep an even border around the top, right-hand side, and the bottom.

Die cut the piece of Basic Black cardstock using the third up from smallest rectangle in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Stamp the sentiment ‘Thanks’ and ‘from all of us’ from the Ornate Thanks stamp set using VersaMark ink into the center of the die cut Basic Black piece. Cover this with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and set using the Heal Tool.

On the reverse of the sentiment piece, adhere two strips of Seal+ or Tear & Tape. Zig zag a length of Braided Linen Trim to these strips. Adhere the sentiment piece to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

NOTE: This is different to the ribbon picture. I made my sample in the YouTube video before I had realised that the ribbon I had used was retired! Oops… :).

To finish off the card, place three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the card front, making a triangle.
