Geared Garage Masculine Card.

Geared Garage Masculine Card.

Hello and welcome back. It has been a while since my last blog post. Life with a husband and two young kids really is busy, and gets on top of me sometimes. Every now and then one (or two, or three) of the balls I’m juggling has to be dropped, and this time it has been my filming of YouTube videos and instructional blog posts. Have you experienced this too? It is all a part of life, right?

I’m happy to say my stamping classes have been running as normal, and I have a number of exciting classes in the coming weeks. Check them out under the ‘Classes and Workshops’ tab above. I’ll be sharing images of our recent class projects shortly, but for today I have this masculine themed card to share with you. It is made using the Geared Up Garage stamp set and coordinating Garage Gear dies, and is perfect for the car loving man in your life.

To make this project you will need:

  • Whisper White Thick – 14.9cm x 21cm
  • In Good Taste DSP – 10.5cm x 14.9cm
  • Basic Black card stock – 6cm x 10.4cm
  • Whisper White cardstock – 5.5cm x 9.9cm

Adhere the In Good Taste DSP piece to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Seal.

Stamp the sentiment along the bottom edge of the Whisper White piece in Tuxedo Black Momento ink. Stamp the ink blot type image using Sahara Sand, stamped off, onto the Whisper White piece on the right-hand side.

Adhere the Whisper White piece to the Basic Black piece.

Adhere this to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, ensuring it is centered.

Stamp the car image onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. Colour the image in using Stampin’ Write Markers in Real Red, Pool Party, So Saffron, and Smoky Slate. Die cut the car using the Garage Gear Dies.

Adhere the car to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy crafting x

Megan
