Recently a friend and I held a joint class to celebrate the festive season. The class attendees could choose between a female gnome, a male gnome, and a Christmas tree. We were inspired by the two gnomes designed by Stampin’ Up!’s Artisan Design Team member Stesha Bloodhart. These are too cute! Use them as a décor piece, or take the hat/top of the tree off and fill the cup with treats for a festive gift.

We altered the design Stesha shared to make sure our class was affordable, and that each person would be able to make two projects of their choice.

The patterned paper from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper pack worked perfectly to create the gnome’s hats and bodies, and there were even a couple good sheets of green patterns for the Christmas tree.

Braided Linen Trim made a fun textured beard and braids, and Snowflake Splendor ribbon added some sparkle to the overall look. All designs were topped off with a pom pom and Jingle Bell.

We coloured Basic Rhinestones using Stampin’ Blends to make decorations for the Christmas tree.
