Bloom Where You're Planted Suite

Hello! Today I have a fun card to share with you using products from one of my favourite suites in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue – the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite. To make this Spanner Panel fun fold card I fussy cut images from the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper and featured the Paper Lattice accents.

I chose Merry Merlot for the card base as it contrasts nicely with the colours in the patterned paper. The Paper Lattice accents have got to be in my top 5 fave products from Stampin’ Up! right now. When I think of them on a card I think of a living wall; houseplants have made a great resurgence in popularity and are so in right now. To strengthen the Paper Lattice I adhered a piece of Window Sheet behind the lattice using a strip of Tear & Tape on each side. I was able to easily hide any adhesive with the plants and pots.

This fun array of houseplants were made using random combinations of pots and plants from the DSP pack. To fill up some of the pots I used different plants in different colours to add depth and interest. To create the sentiment piece I used the Potted Succulents Dies to die cut a large label in DSP, and a smaller label in Basic White cardstock. The ‘Kind People’ sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set was stamped in Merry Merlot. A length of Mint Macaron Soft Velvet Ribbon was adhered between the two labels.
