This past weekend a good friend (Alicia Yap of Paper Muchkin) and I held a Stamping Retreat to highlight the new Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalogue release. We had such a blast sharing the day with our fab guests.
Alicia and I each showcased Stampin’ Up! products in a product demonstration, and taught two make and take projects. Our guests left with a goodie bag in hand, four complete projects using new products, and inspiration for their own crafting from our display boards.
I showed off the amazing Sand & Sea Suite of products, and had lots of fun creating with the items in the suite.
One if the two make and take projects I designed featuring the Pearlescent Specialty Paper. We die cut the seashells first, and then embossed the die cut piece using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. We added colour by sponging with Sponge Daubers. I just love how the pearlescent sheen shows through the colours!
The second make and take project I designed was this fun fold. The card really showed off the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper
This rosette was one of the samples I showed in my product demonstration. Some Designer Series Paper, some stamped images, and the Opal Rounds embellishments made the rosette super cute.
I really enjoyed making non-card items with the Sand & Sea suite of products. This mini wreath was inspired by a dried flower workshop I attended here in Hamilton offered by The Spanish Bluebell. The wreath would make a great home decor piece for any beach lover, and would be a big wow piece to give as a birthday or Christmas gift.
